在那儿，怎么去… 又写一下了。

莲花池 (Liánhuā Chí) is located right near 北京西站 (Běijīngxī Zhàn — Beijing West Railway Station) and a bit north from 马连到 (Mǎ Lián Dào) — famous tea market. So it's pretty easy to get here by subway, bus, 嘟嘟车 (dūdūchē — tuk tuk), motohammock or any other transportation of sufficient weirdness you can find in Beijing. We prefer bikes.

没有特别多意思，但是海行。

This place isn't too quiet or cozy, but it's worth coming if you find yourself nearby somewhere with some amount of free time to kill. Like if your train got delayed, it makes sense to wait for it in the shade of willow instead of terrible halls of 北京西站.

恋花开花什么时间。

The pond itself is relatively big and may take you 30 minutes to walk around. I suppose in late summer it justifies its name and being full of blooming lotuses (in Beijing they usually start to bloom in June and are most beautiful in the end of August), but visited in the middle of May and all the little lotuses were planted into pots around the lake.

运动场。

To the left of the main gate there're few rather large outdor gyms with actually useful (not useless crap as at the most of such places) apparatus including horizontal bar which is damn rare, ping-pong area with a dozens of tables and kids playgrounds.

会看北京风景。

And of course traditional pavillions, bamboo forests, rose flowerbeds and so on. But you can find those in any other park as well. What makes this place really unique is that you can actually see the city, not the park. West Railway Station, CCTV tower, number of malls and skyscrapers of all shapes and sizes and the rest of Beijing's scenery can be seen perfectly well from this viewpoint. And in a way it's much more interesting than seeing same things from high ground.
