武当山 — Wudangshan mountains
武当山。
武当山 (Wǔdāng Shān) is a place of legends and real achievements, grand temples and abandoned places of practice, realized masters and hollow frauds, breath taking views and… luckily nothing to oppose here. Movies are being filmed here, but none of participants usually know much about what exactly this place is about. So it is a bit hard to talk about it worldwide in details being unbiased. So we'll try to stick to culture, places and views here.
从北京去~
Taking overnight train from Beijing is probably the best option to get here. At the station of 武当山战 (Wǔdāng Shān Zhàn) there's going to be a dozen of cab drivers ready too take you to the main gate of Wudangshan. Take your time and bargain, it'll pay off. After paying for the ticket and getting in take a bus to the place you desire most. It's cool if you can spend here at least 3-4 days, as it's nearly possible to see all the terrific spots in one or even two days, and also this is not the place you want to gallop around. Mountain hotels with fantastic views are located at 天乙洞 (Tiānyǐdòng). Some of them have opened roofs for practicing martial arts.
