紫竹院公园 — Purple Bamboo Park
谁不知道紫竹院公园？只老外不知道～
紫竹院 (Zǐzhú Yuàn) is a big beautiful park west to Beijing Zoo and south-east to Temple of Longevity open to the public free of charge, so certainly it never suffers from lack of visitors. Few lakes of different sizes full of Lotus flowers, willows and of course bamboo groves. Not literally purple though.
